about
The closing track of the album opens with the lyrics, “I want to decide who runs my insides.” In response to the album-long question of anxiety or optimism over the future, "Terms and Conditions" asserts that in order to maintain optimism there has to be a clear consent-based approach to privacy rights in the online and offline world. This song ends with a haunting piano rendition of the overture from “Meet Me On The Internet,” completing an easter egg that is present throughout the record of tying themes with transition melodies.
